For the past couple years, I have had the privilege of photographing weddings up north in our great state of Michigan. Those of you who know what I’m talking about totally get it, but for those of you who haven’t experienced a #puremichigan summer day, you’re missing out!
On Kari & Brian’s wedding day, the weather was absolutely perfect. Early July you never really know what you’re going to get and we just happen to have a sunny, about 78-80 degree day in Harbor Springs. Perfection. Add a stunning bride, fun loving groom and about 100 of their closest family and friends and you can’t get much better than that. Oh and did I mention they got married at the top of a ski hill and took the ski lift down… don’t worry, there’s pictures.
Kari and Brian, my face hurt from all the smiles and laughing after I left your wedding. So many great memories – Kari walking out of the bathroom in her dress for the first time and all her bridesmaids and mother waiting, Henry coming down the aisle (Henry is their dog), your adorable niece totally stealing the show by saying grace, tears of joy during the Father-Daughter dance (and by tears of joy, I mean my tears… yes, you totally made me cry. such a beautiful moment), and so many more. Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your special day. It’s one of the weddings at the top of my list. Congratulations again!
