That pretty much sums up Aubrey and Mason’s wedding day. It was a day filled with love – an incredible, obvious love for one another, a love for their families, a love for their friends and a love for Christ. From the beginning to the end, it was just a celebration, a party and so much fun!
I met Aubrey years ago. Her dad was my Youth Pastor and on their wedding day, was the first time I saw him in… 15 years. Wow, that makes me feel so old! I remember Aubrey’s little brother was like 5 at that time and now he’s almost 21! Crazy how fast time goes by. But it was so wonderful to see her family again and witness the beginning of Aubrey and Mason’s lives as husband and wife. Aubrey’s dad did most of the wedding ceremony too, talk about a tear jerker! Such an incredible thing for her and their family to remember.
But like I said, the whole day was just fun. And that totally describes Aubrey and Mason. They were so much fun to be around whether it was a puppy showing up at hair and makeup, a joint effort to understand the instructions for folding a pocket square (who knew it could be so intense!), wedding party pictures downtown Grand Rapids, a ring pop at their ceremony, MOH and Best Man humor during their toasts, a taco bar (mmm, tacos!), a photo booth and ending the night with lots and lots of dancing…. such a great celebration! Congratulations Aubrey and Mason. Here’s to many, many years of happiness and love!
